I don't think the NTSC French Kirby is rare. Last I checked, you could still buy them new on ebay.

Really? I bought mine at my local store in 2005 Sealed they found a complete box at the warehouse! And they also found a box of Zelda link to the past in french, now that one is going for insane prices! I opened it but its still flawless!

I'm confused, are those games that he wants to trade along with the NES system or games that he wants to get from you for the NES system?

sorry the list is the games he wants for it (my games!) for his Nes action set... I thought it was an ok trade but then i checked on ebay for sealed nes and im not sure its worth much more than 300$, and super mario rpg and dracula x cartridge only are worth 200$ so...

You basically answered your own question, PreZZ.

Just a couple of your games (cartridge only) would be equal to or more than the value of his set. So, unless you want the set for other reasons and aren't worried about the monetary value (which is quite unequal), I would say pass on this deal.

The French Kirby is priceless because it's the only way you can fight King Oui-Oui-Oui. Or would that be King WiiWiiWii because it's Nintendo? Pardon my French.

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

Deal is done! I got the nes (it is PERFECT!!) with phantasy star 3CIB + Phantasy star 3 strategy guide for:
castlevania x CIB (bad shape former rental with stickers on box and teared label on cart)
    castlevania 4 CIB
    starfox CIB
    Megaman x CIB
    super mario rpg CIB
    battletoads CIB
    river city ransomCIB
    golgo 13 CIB
smb 3 box and manual no cart
    sealed galaga

overall im satisfied with the trade, I figured it would be a lot easier to track those games again than to find a brand new sealed nes action set.

My games had a combined value of 585$, a sealed console deck sold last week for 310$. my guess is for an action set the value would be around 380$-400$ range. All my games were perfect and complet, boxes were in good shape, no crease or dents. If you go on ebay and check for sealed nes , people put buy it now prices at 1500$- 3000$, but you have to check the prices when they actually got sold... A guy with a sealed galaga asks for 500$, but its probably worth 60$. Anyway I think it was a fair trade, he wanted the games, I wanted the NES

PreZZ wanted to find out what the approximate value was and received some details here and through further research. PreZZ is happy with the deal and I'm sure the other party is as well. Although it is not a trade that a lot of us would make, it worked for them.

If you're able to show pictures of the interior, I must point out the set cannot be sealed. It maybe in perfect shape, unused, but it's not sealed.

Im pretty sure brand new nes boxes are not sealed, everything inside is... every brand new nes I saw on ebay have pictures of whats inside the box too... I wanted phantasy star 3 too, so I guess I lost 100$ in value, the strategy guide and games value combined is 70$ + Nes 400$ = 470$. I saw a buy it now auction sold for 550$ for a console deck, so maybe it is worth more...
