Do you like the NES, the SMS, AND the 7800? I am. All three systems have their strong points. The NES has the beloved franchises, the SMS has excellent conversions of Sega arcade games, and the 7800 has excellent conversions of Atari arcade games.

nope, 7800 SUXXORZ.
Master System ROXXORZ!!
NES is ok, I guess.
the 7800 is the most worthless system I own.. I use to think it was the 5200 but even with the jello sticks it has more to offer. I haven't hooked up the 7800 ONCE sense I got it..

AHA! If you haven't hooked it up even once then how can you judge?!Originally Posted by Raedon

I kinda understand the anti-7800 thing, but there are a lot of exclusives and even some of the arcade ports go beyond the arcade (example: cooperative play centipede and asteroids has to be experienced to be appreciated!). considering it also plays 2600 games I can't say it sucks, but of those three it's definitely my least favorite.
Yes,I like all three.... but then I like all the systems that I own..
AKA I hooked it up, played all the carts then put it on the shelf. Not upset or anything, just not going to play 2600 games in a 7800 just because it can.. rather have the goodness of the woodgrain..mmmm.. woodgrain..Originally Posted by Raedon

No....I don't like any pre-NES Atari stuff really. I don't collect it, I don't play it, and I really have very little interest in it outside of picking it up to trade off to people who do want it for things I want.

Dude, the 7800 was released in '86.Originally Posted by maxlords

Sega Master System is the one I would play the most, simply because visually, audially and playability wise - it's the most superior system by far. Plus I have more favourite games on that console than I do the NES.
The NES I would rank a close second, simply because it's got all the classic exclusive franchises (Mario, Zelda etc.)
I've never played an Atari 7800, so I can't really comment on it. Maybe this is a good reason to go buy one now!
