Default What is this Chinese handheld game?

I saw this on 9gag today.

Way, way, way back in elementary school, I played once the red electronic Chinese handheld found in the fifth image. I never thought I'd ever see it again. Does anyone here know what it is called, exactly?

The Tomy Racing game in picture #6? A thrift store across town used to have one, boxed. I didn't really bother with it since it doesn't quite fall into my collector's drive to find old late '70s and early '80s electronic handhelds. Eventually some brats tore the box off and it sat on the shelf, bare and waiting for some more brats to beat it up until it wouldn't work and the employees would throw it away. I kind of regret not picking it up now.

Run Yourself Ragged? I went to school with a kid who had one of those, I really liked playing it for the brief amount of time I had the chance. I can also remember the music from the TV commercials for it. Looks like something else for me to keep my eye out for in thrift stores now.

Right you are. Definitely not Chinese then, I guess.

As for the Tomy, it had never occurred to me to look up videos of it in action. It always looked so intriguing in the catalog. It would definitely not have been money well spent. Ashens breaks one here:

I'd never heard of Run Yourself Ragged at all; that actually looks pretty cool. (Seems they alternatively call it Snafu/Screwball Scramble.)

I had a variation of that. It also had screen looping, but the device looked more like a motorcycle. It was red and black, and had motorcycle handles for the controls.

I believe I currently hold a very tough record of beating the first game (picture 1) in 10.3 seconds (no cheating). I was obsessed and mastered it.
