Default Kirby Super Star/Fun Pak SNES Graphic problems

I have two copies of PAL Kirby's Fun Pak (Super Star in US) for the SNES and they both seem to suffer from odd graphical glitches. Small distorted lines appear whenever Kirby attacks or enemies appear at the bottom of the screen. I've cleaned both games as well as my SNES (which has been modded with a 50/60Hz switch and no region lock) but the problem remains. Is this a common problem with Kirby's Fun Pak or have I just unfortunately got two faulty copies?
    Thanks.

EDIT: Some pictures. It's kind of hard to show but basically the little lines by the fish. They constantly flicker about. This happens every time an enemy is in that part of the screen.

Cleaning might help. That's the easiest thing to look into.

Bad capacitors is possible I suppose. Or a mistake by the console's modder.

Are you trying to play them on an NTSC SNES? Some games' programmers didn't account for 50hz or 60hz, and will have glitches in the wrong setting. (Final Fantasy 6)
A few other games can have problems if there's no lockout chip. (Super Mario RPG) Though I don't think it would cause this type of issue.
    Lum fan.

I've cleaned the connectors multiple times now. Unless I need to clean the actual chips as well?

I'm playing it on a PAL SNES. The glitches appear in both 50hz and 60hz. I've even tried it on an unmodded PAL SNES and it still has the problems.
It seems to be this specific game as I've never had any problems with other games, even FF6 and Super Mario RPG run perfectly on my SNES.

Could it be something to do with the SA1 chip?

It could be a small glitch not caught during testing.

Sorry for digging up my second old thread of the day....

But I have this too on the Japanese hoshi no kirby super deluxe (famicom version of super star). Mine is a pal SNES running at 60hz with the lockout chip disabled.
