Default Favorite pack-ins that came with PS3, 360, Wii video games

So what's your favorite item that came packaged in with a video game? Is it the COD Rc car or maybe night vision goggles? Maybe you liked the Helghast helmet, Halo Master Chief helmet, or Darksiders II skull-mask. . . or coud it be that you like wearing those polka dotted "Catherine" boxer shorts while playing with your Assassins Creed jack-in-the-box? Can you honestly say you weren't tempted to buy the PS3 Move Socom 4 bundle which came packaged with the Sharp Shooter gun?

I spent quite a bit of time researching the great pack-ins of video gaming, so check out my NerdkO article and see if you agree with me on what I think is the greatest pack-in of all time...

I don't buy much deluxe packaging, so almost all the deluxe packaging I've bought is either from Atlus', Working Designs', or XSeed's games, or the rare game from another developer that has packaging like that such as Dragon Quest 8, Star Ocean 3, and Tactics Ogre PSP from Square Enix when first print copies came with an outer card board box and tarot cards.

So my favorite preorder item will be my favorite pack in. It's not really a pack in, but came with preorders, so I'll use it. The Xenosaga movie DVD which contained four hours of Xenosaga's cutscenes that played like a movie. It came with a garbage game called Xenosaga 2. It was still worth the $50 I paid for it.

The full length of all the cutscenes without anything cut out is seven hours and on Youtube if anyone wants to watch. The parts cut out on the movie DVD were either them shortening some parts or weren't useful storywise other than filler. Except for the background story on Virgil. Showing the background on him showed how much Shion was against that, but since he dies at the beginning, and it's about an hour of footage, that's probably why they cut it.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

The only collector's editions I've bought for PS3 are Gran Turismo 5 and Metal Gear 4, both came with nice add-ons like artbooks, extra DLC and GT even came with a little model car. I wish Metal Gear came with a toque with the Foxhound logo.

I liked the coin (Septim) that came with Oblivion Collectors edition. It actually had some substance and detail to it, and you don't get that these days with collectors sets.

    Also worth noting:

    Bioshock 2 LP

art book with 3D glasses from the Deadspace Ultra Limited Edition

    Faceplate with Deathsmiles for 360

Demon's souls strategy guide PS3 (collectors edition)

My favorite is the Scorpion and Sub-Zero bookends that came with the Mortal Kombat Kollector's Edition.

I'd have to say my favorite would be the original Rock Bank package that came with everything.

I still have my controller for Omega Race on the 2600. It's too bad I lost the box many years ago.
