I tried the demo recently and was very impressed. The graphics are beautiful, the combat is involving and it has an awesome world map (I was really starting to miss those). Who else around here has taken an interest in the game?

Many people on NeoGAF are losing their Wizard Edition preorder due to the card they initially ordered with no longer being valid. Some credit cards expired, others were lost or stolen, but all have the same problem: Digital River says it is impossible to update the credit card information. I am one of those people. Luckily I preordered 2 copies with 2 different cards.
Well that makes me happy. My wife has been complaining about the fact that I didn't preorder this one since I told her to order it herself if she wanted it.
It is kind of crazy though that they only had the preorders open for like a month or two, they must not have wanted to sell that many copies :O
Ni no...yes yes I do.
I love the work of the animators and the team that did the game behind it is equally talented. I'm interested for sure, kind of wish and highly preferred the portable version was a choice due to circumstances but I will grab it and hope I can get time in on the game.
I just preordered this the other day. I played it about at e3 and it was gorgeous. I'm looking forward to it.
Can someone explain this game to me, I have no idea what it is.
I haven't played anything on my PS3, besides bluray, in a long time. This game is going to be my excuse to pick up the controller again. Also have the limited edition bundle comming in.
Played the demo, wasn't impressed. It was a few weeks ago and I can't remember why exactly, but I took an almost immediate dislike to the battle system. Might pick it up some time, down the road, on the cheap.
This is exactly how I felt after playing the demo. I was fairly excited about the game in the months leading up to the demo's release, but the battle system made almost all of that excitement disappear. It isn't quite as bad as FFXIII's battle system, but it left me with the same feeling--like I was never fully in control of anything, despite being able to win every battle with relative ease.
I still plan on buying the game, and as a Studio Ghibli fan I'll probably love certain aspects of it, but I doubt it will be the instant classic a lot of people are suggesting it will be.
My husband preordered it in full as one of my Christmas presents. No wizards edition unfortunately, but I dont mind I just want to play the game. I've been following the title periodically since it was announced as a Japan only DS title. Even if the battle system turns out to be lackluster I don't see how a Ghibli animated RPG couldn't be enjoyable. If nothing else the story should be something unique.
