Halfbrick studios brought their one-button endless-run masterpiece to the PSN a few weeks ago by way of Playstation MINIS, which, in my opinion was great. Even at the low resolution it looked, sounded and played great.
However, now they've brought the game over in full HD with the full fremium distro style in tact. The full game (not the MINI version) is completely free on PS3 and VITA now, and you can play all day without having to spend extra, but if you want to unlock extras like a coin-doubler or extra tokens to spend in the shops, you can spend real money on that stuff.
I've enjoyed the SHIT out of this game for the past year and I haven't spent a single penny of real money, and I know a lot of other people who have done the same, so don't let the cash purchases dissuade you. You can unlock everything that matters with in-game persistence.
This is a great little game that does so much right within its genre. If you've passed on it on iOS, Android, Windows 8, or anywhere else that it's available, give it a shot now. Seriously.
...and if you find yourself humming the main song after a few play sessions, Halfbrick offers the soundtrack for pay-what-you-want (including nothing) at Band Camp.
