O2 Controller Help

I recently got an Odyssey2, and last weekend, I was testing it out for the first time. The left joystick was working fine, however, the right joystick was not. If you wanted to move up, you had to move the stick to the upper right direction. Does anyone know how to repair something like this? BTW, these are the hard-wired controllers, if it makes a difference. Thanks!

I'm not sure how you could fix this (maybe someone who knows more about joystick repair will chime in), but it is relatively easy to splice in a replacement Atari 2600-compatible joystick. Instructions and pinouts are available here. I prefer splicing in a 9-pin port rather than a joystick, that way you can swap joysticks easily afterward.

This will only work if it's your O2 joystick itself that's busted, not the joystick port or the cable.
