Yoshi-P said in his last FFXIV interview about FFXIV Realm Reborn Revealed Information that they're 2 and a half months behind the roadmap. They were supposed to post a new roadmap but haven't done so yet. All we know for now is that Beta will be starting at the end of January or early February. Official launch will hinge on how long it takes to ensure everything from beta is ready to move to retail.
