    Default Neo Geo AES Stuff

I have a seller near me with a copy of Metal Slug on the AES, the insert being a reprint. He was 500 bucks for it, is it worth that or should I pass it up? I just bought a AES Unibios and a couple games from him. Was looking to get a few more from him next week and he let me know that he has that copy of Metal Slug. Which is quite tempting...

    Thoughts?

It's a conversion for sure. Unless the price tanked in the past year and no one told me. If you are fine with a conversion, check on ebay, you can find some at a cheaper price, shipping included.

Chances are it's a conversion (i.e. an MVS game that has been converted to AES/home cart). If that's the case, $500 is way too much.

Well, you said it yourself, the insert is a reprint. This screams conversion. Also, it's too cheap for being a real one (even one with a reprinted insert would sell for over 1k$).

You can get a conversion for under 300$ if you search a little. A real one would be around 2k$ (yeah... 2k monies).

For that price its a conversion.

$500 though is expensive for a Metal Slug Conversion. I paid under $200 for mine.

Definitely pass on the obvious conversion. A legit Metal Slug CIB is over $2k by a decent bit. A nice conversion should be $200 or a tad less.
