Looking for an atari 800 game

My friend is trying to think of the name of an Atari 800 game he played around 1982. It was a sort of side scrolling platformer that he picked up in a bargain bin. After looking through a list of games he said it wasn't Pitfall or Spelunker, but those games definitely remind him of it. I realize this isn't much to go off of, but I will post an update if he thinks of anything else.

It was apparently not Jumpman. He said he remembers it maybe taking place inside of a cave or something like that. I figured that we wouldn't really find the answer with so little to go on. But, doesn't hurt to ask.

Maybe your date is off? Could be Activision H.E.R.O. which came out in 1984.

Miner 2049er came out for the 800, didn't it?

Montezuma's Revenge is another likely candidate.

A few games spring to mind but maybe not so early
Cavelord but i think that was `84
Cavernia is another good cave game that sprang to mind but that was 1990!

How about Mountain King? It's one of my favorite 8-bit Atari games.
