Watched Youtube videos and the games don't look bad, so in for $1 atleast. Not so much interested in paying the average for the Men of War game as I don't like that theme and King's Bounty Crossworlds is a stand alone expansion for the previous game according to Metacritic. Hopefully there's a lot of cheap people that drive the average down. If it gets below $2.50 I'll match it then.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

This is their worst Weekly Sale to date.

All of those games have been featured in an insane amount of bundles already.

Have they? I don't recall seeing them before today. Then again, I only do Humble Bundles. Never touch all the various other copycat bundles out there.

These have been in several Groupees and Indie Gala bundles as well as several other smaller bundle sales. These are generic bundle fodder.

It's not "meh". Darwinia and Multiwinia are awesome, as is Uplink (though it's plagued with horrible UI choices that they haven't fixed in years). Defcon is... I never got the hang of it.

It's meh when you consider that these games have been in several humble bundles. But, yes, I agree, they are fairly fun games.

    Not bad this week:

    For $1+:
    Botanicula + OST
    McPixel + OST
    Thomas Was Alone + OST
The Showdown Effect + OST (Steam Only)

    For minimum:
Amnesia: The Dark Decent + OST

Was waiting for Botanicula to go on sale. I didn't get it in the first bundle it was in because that particular bundle didn't come off as good of a deal.

AVOID THIS BUNDLE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

You see all those games? You'd think, well, that's a nice deal right? Well, it's not. A large chunk of those games have an insane amount of downloadable content. Crusader Kings II alone has $40 worth. Magicka has several expansions, too. I thought the EA Humble Bundle was bad because it included games that had loads of DLC (Battlefield 3 and Sims 3) but this is an outright blatant cash-in excuse to get people to buy DLC by the bucketload.

The basic $1+ part, however, is a pretty good deal. Most of those games have no DLC and the one that does gives you the complete version anyway.

I did mentally note that Magicka didn't come with all the various DLC packs, which is a bummer as those are what really make the game fun.

One is an RTS game and is, therefore, automatically horrible.
Two more are strange platformers that looks alright.
The last one is a block matching puzzle game that is automatically horrible for crime of not being Tetris Attack.
The other two cost more an a buck, so who cares about them, right?

Edit: I'm being facetious, btw. I'm sure all these games are great.

Humble no longer sells bonus games depending on the average bundle purchase. They've been setting a minimum price now, and that really, really bothers me.

I don't see a problem with it, really. The average has always been between $4 and $6, with $5 being the normal price. Jumping the gun straight to $5 seems like cutting out the middle man.

    Humble Bundle 9

Trine 2 The Complete Story. Played it on PS3, bored after the first stage. Pretty, but boring as hell.
    Mark of the Ninja
    Eets Munchies Beta
    Brutal Legend

    Pay the average for

    Fez
    Faster than Light

No interest in any of the games in the first half of the bundle, but I've heard great things about Fez and Faster than Light so I paid the minimum.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

I never sat down with my PSN+ copy of Trine 2, mostly because it looked like a pain to play. This version apparently comes with both DLC packs or something. I saw Mark of the Ninja in action on a Backloggery stream, didn't look like something I'd enjoy. Already have two copies of Brutal Legend (PS3 and Steam), FTL is meh and Fez is boring.
