Wow this shot up in price. I'm lucky I found this years ago loose for under $5 total, it's really one fun game.

Ha, I wish two years ago I had put a higher max bid on that sealed one. Ended at like $76

Good god...I haven't checked but there have to be scans somewhere on the internet. Some people just have too much damn money to know what to do with it

I think NintendoAge has every North American NES manual scanned (though in varying levels of quality. Some good, some barely readable.)

I lucked out when I bought MFF with the box from someone on Craigslist a couple years ago. I can't remember exactly but I'd say I paid $10-20 for it. Now if the manual wasn't horribly overpriced...

With the rarer NES games, the manuals will generally be worth more than the boxes. They are expensive because they are just super-hard to find, especially hard to find without rental stickers. Alot of rental stores would keep the boxes but somehow end up destroying the manual or throwing them out. People want them complete in the box, and many boxed nes games have the habit of showing up without manuals. Ive been looking for a little samson manual (reasonably priced) for at least 8 years.

It really doesnt matter if scans are available on the internet, people want the originals to complete their collections. I dont think anyone will spend 100$+ because they need to read how to play a nes game..

Heh, I feel the same way about certain boxes at times (for me, I need just the box for Mega Man 5). Maybe I'll get lucky one day.

Yeah, Mega 5 is really hard/expensive to find complete. This is another one I need a manual for, Ive been looking for awhile.

Yep. Going after a Wacky Races manual won't be cheap, and that;s if I can even find one for sale.

Apparently there is a poster that goes with it also:

I would really like to know what that sold for. Asking over 2 grand for that? What??

But yeah Wacky Races is a really rare one also, I dont have the box or manual.

You know the same seller has that same poster listed for BIN $99.99 or best offer, so it didn't sell.
