Duck Tales REMAKE coming to XBLA, PS3, Wii U

If anyone wants a pin, Target has an exclusive WiiU version on disc that comes with the pin for $20. The Xbox 360 and PS3 disc version don't come with a pin unfortunately. Also, Target is running their B2G1 sale, so you can save even more if you find a couple other $20 games you want.

Thanks for the heads up! I picked up a copy from my Target last night along with a couple other $20 games (Walking Dead and Dishonored) to take advantage of the Buy 2 Get 1. I was just going to grab another Duck Tales but I guess that promo won't let you get two copies of the same game.

It's not prepatched. Just like the downloadable version, when you firt load up the disc version you are prompted to download and install the newest patch which isnt very long actually...

How long are the cutscenes if you don't skip them? Are they intrusive? I say this because if it's not prepatched, let's say 20 years from now I decide to play the game but the patch has long since been taken down.

Generally not long, all are skippable. You just hit start and X and and you skip the scene. It becomes second nature, its not really that bad.

Heads up: you can get a Steam key for six bucks on GreenManGaming at the moment if you use their voucher code. It's the cheapest the game has been so far.

I rented the 360 version last week, although it's not the newest version (game will request a 4mb update if you're connected to live) it is at least not the first version; you can skip cutscenes by pressing start and selecting "skip cutscene".

I ended up downloading the patch a few days later and didn't notice any changes offhand so I'm assuming it just has bugfixes.

Hey, does anyone know if there are any in game differences between the PS3 digital download code version and the disc version of the game? I kind of want to keep at least one of the games sealed if possible.

The retail disc version was released in Mexico so I purchased it and finish the game in four gaming sessions of 30 minutes, it was a great experience and fond memories felt fresh and they made justice to the original game, at least the great moments I had with the game as a kid.

The last boss and race felt much harder than the NES version. It was a very good purchase for $399 pesos

Just bought a used copy on PS3 (obviously on disc) for $11 at Microplay. Played it for 45 minutes today and really liked it -- it took me everything to stop playing and go back to my computer and resume work. :P And since my PS3 is set to French, I can say that the translated subtitles of the game use the official French names.
