    Default Mario Party for N64

So, I'm sure why, but the Mario Party games on the N64 are so damn expensive. I suppose I can understand 3 since it is somewhat rare. But 1 & 2 are all over eBay, but they're still way expensive. Anyhow, how much would you pay for all three complete in the box in like new condition?

All the Mario Party games tend to hold their value very well, most likely because they're still highly desired. I think only the second one is available on Virtual Console.

Personally, at MAX, I'd probably fork over $30 for a mint, CIB copy.

I sold cart only copies of Mario Party 1-3 for $120 a few months ago. If I had them all complete you'd be looking at $200+.

Well, he's asking $225 for the set. He's resealed them for whatever reason, so I can't see the condition of the carts or manuals. I guess I'm meant to take his word for it. I was thinking of offering him $175.

If you're going to buy legit seals, that's your thing. I respect that. Kinda.

But reseals... you can't see the condition of the games, so what's the point of paying so much for them? It's a blind buy. Not worth it.

$225 is probably the average of all three. But like Kitsune said you aren't able to see and judge the condition of the games. For that reason I would offer him even lower than $175, maybe $150. Even if they aren't in perfect condition as long as they are complete they are worth good money.

Yeah, I don't care about the seal. I'm just going to open them and play them. I don't collect sealed games. My draw was condition, and the boxes look to be mint. I was going to e-mail him and ask if he had pictures of the carts and instructions. I agree with you and I'm very cautious about even considering this since I've been burned enough times buying games sight unseen.

Alright, I'll do that. The worst he can do is say no. If he doesn't go for $150 or give me pictures, I'm out.

So I asked him if he'd take $165 since I couldn't see the condition of all the games. He responded that he would take $200 and he would open the up and take pictures of everything spread out. If everything looks good I think I'm going to pick them up.
