Try GameGavel.com, like ebay but only video games. We have some great sellers and a nice variety of items

Avoid lukiegames. I tried once to buy a N64 game through them on ebay. They notified me after I paid through paypal that the item was out of stock. Say what? They auctioned an item they did not have. Then they offered to hold my money until another one of that game came in. Yah, and I was born yesterday. I told them I wanted an immediate refund, and that they would be receiving negative feedback from me. Well, it seems lukiegames knows how to play the system because they canceled the auction before I could leave any feedback and refunded my money. Take a look sometime at their feedback rating on ebay. It is grossly exaggerated to the positive side because of tricks like those used on me.

Regarding the question raised in the OP, atari2600.com has always offered excellent products and quick shipping on everything I have ordered. Highly recommended.

Avoid hit-japan as well. If you ever run into a problem with him, he'll really screw you over, refuse to refund you, and then block you from bidding/emailing on anything else.

I've been curious to try eStarland after seeing it recently on an episode of the Game Chasers.

I can second both of these. I've had bad experiences from both of them.

One thing that bugs me about all these websites, like ebay, they mostly use generic pictures. I wanna know what the actual cart and label looks like and don't trust their word for it.

Having said that, I've ordered from Lukiegames about a half dozen times with absolutely no issues except slow shipping on one order but that was close to Christmas and I am in Canada. Other than that, everything arrived in great working and physical condition from them.

Another one that I haven't used in a while is Collectors Cards and Games. My last purchase from him was a couple of years ago but I got a great deal on a loose Space Megaforce for the SNES ($30 IIRC) and its jumped in price. He actually tracked down a copy for me since he didn't have it himself. That was great. Problem is you really have to email for what you're looking for as the website is woefully out of date I believe.

Also used 4Jays but I've heard they're really getting bad at returning emails anymore, even worse than in times past.

I've also used TradeNGames but the last couple of times I emailed about shipping quotes (since I'm in Canada the site won't let you order outside the US without contacting the owner first) Problem is he's never gotten back to me

I also recommend Gamegavel. Gotta support that site.

If you like imports, try japangamestock.com. I've made a few purchases recently, and they were very reliable.

    NO!

Yeah, thanks for posting these up after I've spent my gaming budget for the month! Well, I guess the month is almost over. I suppose I can forgive you.

    Digital Press.

There is always a decent selection of games that folks like you and I are trying to sell and you are helping out the community. Not to mention the prices are usually very good (especially if you buy in lots).

I always try the forums first!

I've used Lukiegames quite a bit lately and have always been happy. The only problem I had was I order cord extensions for a bunch of my older consoles and they accidently sent me an extra N64 one and missed my SNES one. I emailed them and they instantly sent me an SNES one and told me to keep the extra N64 one. I also got a great deal on a Sega 32X (I know, I know) from them last week.

But with all that said I agree with what's been said, I don't like buying items when you can't see the actual pictures of them. Games and pretty much all items that aren't brand new I won't buy unless I can see the item for myself. Someone else's idea of "Good" may not match mine.

That is what's nice about buying from the forums. There are almost always pictures of the items for sale. And if there isn't then it's usually not a problem to request them.
