Question about the DC version of Garou: MOTW

I've heard that this version of the game wears on your DC drive because of the way it streams music directly off the disc, but was told on another, less reliable forum that this is bunk. Any of you DC experts on here care to sort me out, I love the game but I'm afraid if I play it too much I may be buying a new DC soon.

i bought the dc version back in college....i guess around 2003 and have never had a problem....the game plays like a dream on the dc....i've put many hours into it and my dc has worked perfectly
