Default What kind of capacitors do you use?

I've recently gained some soldering skills, and wish to recap my GameGear and Genesis model 1. Thing is, I don't know that much about capacitor brands. I know of the different types, capacitance values (in farads), tolerance, and voltage rating. Anything else I should know, and where can I get good quality ones?

I always go with Nichicon, Panasonic and Nippon Chemi-Con caps, you can easily find them on Mouser or Digi-Key.

I suggest checking this site out:

He's a member here and he sells full kits to recap consoles, including the model 1 Genesis and Game Gear. Plus he's got a lot of other great stuff on there for repairing old consoles.

Thanks for the replies! Got my set, along with spares, ordered from Mouser. Ordered all Panasonic except for one Nichicon when the Panasonic wasn't available. Sure beats going to Rat Shack.
