    Default SNES Bootlegs...or legit?

So I sold the vast majority of my SNES library with the exception of a few titles that I'm going to sell soon. However, when I was selling my carts, I found out that some of the games in my library were bootlegs that I bought at flea markets. Sure enough, I opened up the carts, took one look at the boards and could tell instantly that they were not legit. My copies of Secret of Mana, Lufia, and Marvel Super Heroes - War of the Gems were fakes .

I checked the remaining games and separated out any obvious fakes from real ones, but there's 3 games I'm not sure of. Can anyone help me?

    SUPER MARIO RPG

I'm pretty sure this one is legit. The only thing I find suspicious is that the front of the cart says 'Made in Mexico' instead of 'Assembled in Mexico.'

    Back

    Board

    Jurassic Park

Another Mexico reprint. I think it's legit cause the Nintendo logo is on the board, but I'm not sure.

    Back

    Board

    Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

The discoloration on the back and the lack of the nintendo logo on the board leads me to believe this is fake.

    Any help is appreciated.

If you think those might be bootlegs, maaaay be the ones that you judged as bootlegs, weren't bootlegs at all.

Yeah, I considered that, but I had sold Lufia and it was returned as a fake. My Secret of Mana cart got flagged as a fake immediately on eBay and I took the auction down before anyone bought it. My War of the Gems cart has almost the same board as my Mana and Lufia cart, the label looks like it was printed with an inkjet printer, and the color of the cart is wrong.

I'm curious to see what those looked like, if you still have them.

I have glob top pirates, eprom pirates and flash memories pirates. All of them are the oldschool pirates.

Mind a pic of the boards of your Mana, lufia and Ware of gems!?

Pirate SNES games with flash memory?

Wouldn't that have been too expensive to produce at the time?

    All three are legit.

The code on the Mortal Kombat board is listed at http://cgfm2.emuviews.com/txt/snestech.txt .

I second that, they're all real. I've never seen a fake SA1 chip so Mario is fine. The second one is a reissue by Majesco of a game that had been out before already. The third is just a standard board, they weren't all the same color of green. MX is a chip maker Nintendo still uses for their handheld games. The greening of that sticker I think UV or something else got onto it and wrecked it is all. Also on that JP cart, made in mexico is another tell for a majesco game too or just something later issue in the SNES life as earlier things were done out of Japan.

Do SNES bootlegs even use anything other than glop tops?
