What I remember is, when you get up to the first save point it tells you to save multiple times or else the data can become corrupted. I used to think it was Final Fantasy II (IV) but it's not. Its probably an RPG too.

Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest has a message like that.
I'm pretty sure I remember the manual for FF2 saying something along those lines.

Well, a few different game manuals have the message in them. The only game I can think of off the top of my head that has it in game would be Mystic Quest.
