Default Found a neon N64 controller with a weird memory card. Need info on memory card

Yesterday I found these at Goodwill for $5.49. The controller is a neon green N64 controller, the memory card is an odd one, it had 4 switches on the back of it. I can't find any info about the memory card. Maybe it's from another country?

But seriously, seeing the English and French language, I'd suggest it's of Canadian origin

I had that same one. Pretty sure it was from InterAct and called the Memory Card Plus. Several packaging variations exist.

I have come across several of these, they hold as much as 4 memory cards, but the saves get lost/corrupted easily.

Yeah, it's an Interact Memory Card Plus. Mine still works fine with all of the saves preserved, after having it since 1998 or so.

Nope, both were available in the US at retail.

Extreme Green limited edition controller, and Performance memory card plus or something similar.

Possibly because the battery isn't soldered, so it can fall out of place easily.
    (official cards used soldered batteries)
