Default Sega CDX spindle motor replacement

    Hey guys,

I know a few of you around here do sega cdx repairs, and I'm wondering if you've ever found a good source for spindle motor replacements.
I'm quite sure the spindle motor is broken on my system because I've replaced the laser already and the motor makes noise. I've tried cleaning it and might try some lubricant, but I might need to replace it in the end.
Anyways, I googled the model number and apparently a place in Romania sells the part (here). I don't speak Romanian and don't know exactly how to order from them since it sounds like they don't take credit cards on their website. If anyone happens to speak Romanian and could help me figure out their website that would be great. Otherwise, anybody have any good sources?

    Thanks!

The spindle motor specs are also given by the Romanian seller website.

You really should be able to use any motor that would fit. Take apart old cd players or disk drives and youll come across one eventually.
