Although my Gameboy Player just don't look right under it...
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
I have a Jet black one. I prefer that color. But I do with it was the Cobalt blue the Gameboy is. I saw that one in person today and it is a really beautiful color.
I got the purple one, no big deal really, I do not play it as much as my other next generation consoles.
I'd kill for a Panasonic Q.
Anyone need me to kill someone for them?
I'm a sucker for mirrors and blue lights.
Yeah... It's pretty cool (I use the mirror to shave in). My only problem with it is the current lack of a GB player. I could get a Freeloader set that would work (but I think the legs would have to be cut off). From what I hear, sometime later this year or next year a special GB player will be available for it.Originally Posted by Jasoco
Now that Nintendo is halting production of the GCN, albeit temporarely (I hope ), the value of such a system might be different.

i got a platinum one, witha platinum GBA. Weird thing is that my SP is cobalt.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text
I got a black one, and a platinum sp. Wish they had released the black sp here. Ah well, at least the GB Player will look right under my system once I buy it.
Black and Red SP's are due out later this year in the US.
I have an Indigo GBA and Gamecube. I wanted an Arctic GBA but I figured I'd go with the same color as the Gamecube I'd get. It kinda sucks there isn't an Indigo SP available nor an Indigo GB Player...but black matches with anything. The GB Player looks fine under any Gamecube color really. Note that the controller ports are black as are the lid cover, carry handle, and ports, so it works. I might pick up an SP when they are available in black, as neither the blue nor the platinum match the rest of my stuff.
I was lucky/stupid (circle one) enough to get a brand new import Platinum GB Player off of ebay for the same price as a new US one. It works great since I already had a freeloader disc, but there's only one problem. All of the text is in Japanese. So I had to figure out everything by trial and error. Kind of sucked. Still have a hard time remembering how to hot-swap games properly.

Heck yeah you are one lucky guy there buddy, wish I could afford to import one of those bad boys, last I heard OVER A YEAR ago they were almost 400 bucks OUCH.Originally Posted by Jasoco
Dobie, I have the Platinum GameCube/Game Boy Player combo, too. If you hate messing with the Freeloader, go to Nintendo's online store and order a GBP Boot Disc. They're $15, plus $2 for shipping (I think), and you'll be able to use your import GBP just like you would a domestic model!
I just traded in my black cube for a platinum cube. I want to a Q. A store here has one but it is 3 of 4 hundred bucks.
Zach, I like how you have TWO Top loading NES'. One for normal and one connected to the Japanese FDS.Originally Posted by Zach
