Default WTB: Turbo Grafx CD Spindle or Motor with Spindle replacement

I'm looking for a replacement spindle for a Turbo Grafx CD I just picked up. I'll buy a whole assemble if I have to. I just don't have any idea what type of spindle I need to be looking for.

I use a PS1 spindle hub, it requires minor modifications to the drive but is better in the long run.

What kind of modifications are needed, or is there a guide?

Removal of the magnetic clamp on the top lid. you shouldn't even need to open it if you do it right.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll look into it.

I might still be interested in buying a spindle replacement if they are possible to find for an acceptable price.
