Default Banjo Kazooie is 15 years old

I just realized this playing it again. I felt I needed a nostalgic trip, so I put this in, and man its still a magical looking game. If anyone hasnt played it, its basically a really weird version of Mario 64, and its actually the reason I got a N64 way back then.

The levels were so cartoony and cool! I loved the guide book, looking at all the up coming levels and imagining how theyd be. There was a cool creepiness to the game at times in a good kid way. I didnt play much of the sequel or the third game I hear is horrendous :S I loved this game way more than Donkey Kong Country, and Mario 64 at the time.

Yup, awesome underappreciated gem here. I also have beaten Kazooie but never played Tooie. I enjoyed it just as much as Super Mario 64, if not more. Mario had a lot of diversity in their level constructions, but Banjo Kazooie had more humor and character transformations were cool (turning into a crocodile, etc.)

    Great game!

Im just bumping this so I can talk about finally getting the Ice Key. I forgot about this thing over the years, but when I was playing the game I dreamed of it, finally somehow finding a way into the room that housed it through the winter part of the seasons level on the floor above. Turns out you have to go to treasure trove cove, and in the sand castle enter in "CHEAT NOW YOU CAN SEE A NICE ICE KEY WHICH YOU CAN HAVE FOR FREE" to break the door of ice and get into the room. To quote The Nerd " Who would know how to do that!?!?!?!" I dont feel bad not getting to it back then now.

Heres proof I got it. Click image for larger version.

I got the key back in the day by using a Gameshark "jump super high" code and went over the wall. Blew my mind.
