Default My Sega Genesis Internal Power Mod + AV mod

After a few days of tinkering with a genesis I had laying around I've completed an internal power option. I'm not exactly sure why I don't see any of these around as it wasn't very hard. Pulled a ac/dc psu that had 12v and 2a so that it didnt get as hot as the genesis power plug. Started chopping things up and voila internal power. Added a the av mod while I was at it and put in a green led too. Played through all of sonic 2 and heat was never an issue even thought it's next to that heatsink, works beautifully.

Tell me what you all think.

The whole is the gallery here.
I use connecters in all my mods since it makes it much easier to take things apart in the future, or replace parts.
Right now I'm looking for a psu that I could put in that could run the sega cd and 32x. But heat is a concern of mine with that large of a supply.

I like the idea of anti-brick-supply mods for the old systems. It would be easier to have them all plugged in on a rack into surge protectors that way.

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

Interesting start. I like seeing RF and RGB (required for 32X) intact.
You'd have no trouble with a Japanese switch.
    Lum fan.
