Default Is it possible to swap speakers from one GBA SP to another?

So I got a new GBA SP the brighter version, but the speakers are kind of half assed and only work from time to time. I have another GBA SP with working speakers, but some buttons don't work. is is possible to transfer the speakers/sound from the GBA SP to the brighter version one? Any help would be much appreciated!

Check thw contacts on that one first. It works by 2 connectors pressed against the speaker via a small spring load. Of that doesnt work than yes your other speaker should be compatible.

If you notice where the connectors touch the board. How they should press against it with a little bit of spring. Well try bending them up a tiny bit. Not a lot. And clean both the spots on the board and tips on the speaker. If thats not it there could be an issue with the volume slider. I would start there and beyond that your getting into the board.
