    Default Front-loading NES Latch issues

    Hey guys,

Got two classic NES systems and I'm finding that with one, though it latches properly, the game isn't held down quite far enough to make contact and so I have to use another game to weight it down or the game won't start.

The other one...well.... it latches, but I have to slam the cart sharply, otherwise it won't catch.

Feels like simple mechanical issues. Like maybe I did something wrong when I changed out the 72 pin connectors.

    Thoughts?

Sounds like you did put the tray back in properly. The tray has a tab that locks it down(under the tray). Most people forget to slide that in correctly. The tray has a tab that slides under the motherboard that the tray sits on top of....(if that makes sense).

Thanks! That got it! Though I admit to being very embarrassed by not noticing the BEND in the plastic because I put them in improperly. *facepalm*
