Default SHould i buy a playstation Move?

I am considering getting a playstation move.

Are there any games that make the purchase worthwhile?

Does anyone have one that they hate or love ?

    any input would be appreciated.

The only games I've played using the PS Move has been Sports Champions and House of the Dead Overkill. I own one, but I haven't used the one I own, have played these games at a friends.

House of the Dead Overkill works poorly with the Move, but it's the game itself and not the controller. Whenever you calibrate the Move it works fine, but there's a problem. On House of the Dead Overkill, let's say drag your sight all the way to and then drag it to point further in that direction. When you bring your sight back, it will be misaligned. You might be aiming at someone in the center of the screen now and it might be all the way to the left side of the screen.

Sports Champions is worth getting for Frisbee Golf and Table Tennis alone, though everything on the game worked well.

Here's a list of all the games that work with the PS Move. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ion_Move_games
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

I've been a gamer for 30 years, and always excited about new video game tech and usually get it the day it comes out. I still havent bought kinect or Move, and im glad i didnt. I hate motion controls, but I would MAYBE get move if i find one really cheap for light gun type of games like House of the dead, which is always fun with a friend.

If you can get one cheap sure. but don't spend to much on it as not to many good games need it to play. In fact the only games we play with it are Sports Champions and eyepet.

When Gamestop had a 3 games for $10 sale I picked up Kung Fu Rider because it looked like a hilarious concept - racing around in office chairs! But it needs the Move to play. I guess I'll get one someday.

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

I have played a few MOVE games like Sports Champions and the interface is not as integrated to the PS as i thought it was ... every time you played, you had to calibrate the motion controller... easy 2-step calibration, but it bothered me because I had a Wii and the technology was fully integrated and didn't need calibration every time you played.

When the game is in motion, the technology is good, it works great and is very precise... lack of interesting software but it grows every month.

I didnt play wii a lot, but I remember wii sports asking you to lay down the controller to calibrate often when you changed or start another mini game.

I bought the Move when it first came out and returned it a week later due to the fact I just could never get the thing to calibrate correctly. I tried literally everything to get it to work properly but it just never did I love light gun games and that's what I wanted it for. It had a decent amount of light gun games with the major ones being:

    1) House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut
    2) Time Crisis Razing Storm (with Time Crisis 4 and Dead Storm Pirates)
    3) House of the Dead 3 (download only)
    4) House of the Dead 4 (download only)
    5) Resident Evil Chronicle HD Collection (Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles) (download only...except in Japan)

Sadly, I loved Dead Storm Pirates but that's the game I couldn't calibrate the Move with. The cursor would keep drifting no matter what I did. Outside of Time Crisis and HotD 4, the rest are available for the Wii and, to me, are much more playable and, if it matters to you or not, the RE titles and HotD 2 & 3 are retail copies not just download only.
Mika: Where are you taking me, Gillian?
Gillian: To look at videos on YouTube...
Mika: *sigh* No more videos of a drunk Harry dancing with a dead Snatcher...
Giliian: Nope, it's better...Its LiquidPolicenauts YouTube Videos!
Gillian: And after that, you should also visit

I had one when they first came out because I had enjoyed the wii and wanted it for some arcade style games mostly hotd and titles similar to it I found it worth having as long as it doesn't cost more than you might spend on any other controller and you have some games for it you want to play I don't see why not
