Default Dreamcast - Audio/Video issue (not random restart problem?)

So i'm having an issue where I'll be playing a game for a good 15-20 minutes and then all of the sudden the audio/video just goes out. The console doesnt reset/turn off and remains on even after the audio and video go out. Sometimes if I restart the system manually and try to play again, the console will only work for maybe 2-3 minutes. At first I thought it was the "random reset" issue that is oh so common with the Dreamcast and I have tried cleaning/bending the powerboard connectors so it has a more clear connection but that doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Has anyone encountered this problem/have any ideas for a solution?

    Thanks for the help!

Overheating and/or bad solder joints that expand and become open circuits.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?

    Thanks for the reply, APE
I notice that the Dreamcast is a bit warm on the bottom after it's used and after the issue occurs. The fan is working fine. What should I be looking for as far as bad solder joints? Any suggestions for keeping the Dreamcast cool? I've kept the Dreamcast off the ground on a flat surface so the air circulation should be decent.
