    Default Sweet finds today!!

The women at a local thrift store called me today and said she got 2 big boxes of video game stuff in. I had previously left my number with her to call me when just such an event happens. She kept the stuff in the back room for me, so I was the first to look at it. This is what I got:

All games mentioned were $1 each

    2600

    carnival
    keystone kapers
    fantastic voyage
    moonsweeper
    SQ:fireworld

    NES

    ducktales
    Qbert
    solar jetman
    kung fu
    kickle cubicle
    spy hunter
    Ms. Pac-Man(tengen)

    SNES

    zoop
    killer instinct
    super ghouls n ghosts

    N64

    bomberman 64
    star wars racer
    yoshi's story
    super mario 64
n64 expansion pack (in box) $1.00

    4 n64 controlers $1.50 each
    2 n64 & 1 PSX memory cards $ .50each

    2 n64 consoles with wires $5.00 each

boxed 32x has everything but the stupid metal clips!! $5

found 2 32x games in the 32x box (cosmic carnage and metal head) free!

    2 NES controllers $1.25 each

Best of all Top Loader NES w/ one dogbone controller $5

Best finds I have had in a long time!!

I left 2 psx, 1 n64 and 1 snes bare consoles because they were really dirty looking. Are they worth messing with for $5 each???

    NICE, dude, VERY NICE.

BTW, yes, for $5 each they are worth messing with. Get a security bit set, you can just take the case off, soak it overnight, and 99% of dirt will be gone in the morning. It's not hard to do and you end up with a nice clean console for $5. Even if the console is dead, if it has all hookups, those spare hookups and parts are worth $5 when you later find a bare console and don't have to go to gamestop and pay $15 for an AC and video cable.

Sweet find, nothing like a big box of stuff to brighten the day

Imo, I would have picked up the other stuff, at least for tradebait purposes.

Thanks Everyone. I was pretty pumped about it too, especially since I have been striking out at garage sales this past month. I can't even remember the last decent score I have had.

I will probably go back and get the rest. I tried to get her to sell it all together, but she seemed to want to piece it out. I can't complain since she gave me first look and her prices are great. She charges $1 for any loose cart. It doesn't matter what system it is for. I think she picks up stuff for her store in truck loads, so she can sell it cheap. The best part is she said she has more at home and she will give me a call when she gets to it. :P :P
