Default I need a patch / fix for Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition (Windows PC) for controls in SF Rush The Rock / Rush 2049

From what I've been able to gather from searching Google, Midway issued a couple of patches in 2006
to fix sound issues for the games in the MAT2 portion of Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition for Windows.

However, I have not been able to find any kind of patch or fix for the games in the MAT3 portion of that release--
And I really, really need one for the playing San Francisco Rush The Rock - Alcatraz Edition as well as San Francisco Rush 2049.

Unless I missed it, there doesn't seem to be anything in the options screen to map the controls for my dual analog Madcatz PC gamepad,
which is basically a wired X360 controller from GameStop.

Any help would be so much appreciated.

Have you considered using one of these gamepad-to-key-press mappers? [ http://alternativeto.net/software/joy2key/ ]

If you need an old freeware copy of Joy2key, visit [ http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key...%20Version.htm ].

Thank you, I'll give these a try - had no idea this stuff existed.

You're welcome. I tend to use these a lot as many computer games don't let you remap the keys/buttons or they don't have gamepad support or they have bad gamepad support. This is most frequent and problematic with ports of Japanese consoles games. Sometimes you'll have to disable the in-game joystick controls so the game itself will only try to use the keyboard and won't get confused.

    Happy gaming!
