Default Help repairing a few snes and n64 games

Hey all. I got a laarge lot of broken games recently and repaired most of them, but I have 8 more games that I can't get working.

I am 100% sure it's not the systems since plugging in any other game works. I am sure it is not dirty pins on the as it is quite impossible to get them any cleaner. There is no visible damage on the traces either.

thanks for any help. If i need to post pictures let me know and I will

It depends on what the games are. It could be that there's some poor solder connections with the chips, some games have surface mounted chips which makes this issue more common with certain titles.

    turok
    westle mania
mk trilogy - replaced the cic and still nothing
    home alone
    xmen
    jurassic park

I got tetris sphere to work. Game sucks though

I would still like to get dk country 2 and mario 3 to work though

Could try disabling the CIC on the SNES to see if you get anywhere. Other than than I'd strongly suggest using a donor cart to move the maskrom (and SRAM) chips over for DKC2, well worth it for that game.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?

Do you know of any compatible carts for dk2 and sm3?

Off hand I don't but I'm not very well versed with making SNES repros. I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction at A-G.

On the game cart side, clean the traces with a pencil eraser, that works pretty much every time.

On the console side, might be a pin that isn't raised enough on the cart slot to make contact, or dirty. Some games use different connections to others, which can mean sometimes some games work and others not. For example, Super Mario 64 on the N64 uses few pins, Zelda on N64 uses all.
