Default Super Nes Plays some game.

Hi, new here. Hoping to get some help. I just bought a snes and it only plays some games. The games work fine in my other 2 snes but for some reason not in this one. I've cleaned the system(pin connectors and all) and game completely. I can't figure out whats wrong. I think this snes is the 1992 gmp model.

My games and the problem i get ( all game work with no problem in other snes)

Killer Instinct (Black Screen and theme plays,No control response)

Wayne Gritzy hockey (Works no problem)

    Home Alone ( nothing )

Super Mario All- Star ( Boots but no control response)

    Ncaa Basketball ( works fine)

    Donkey Kong Country ( nothing)

    Castlevania IV ( nothing)

Some games dont have/use all the pins. The other games that dont work might need pins that the working games dont require. Check to see if all the pins are even and able to contact the game. If not get a T needle or safety pin and bend the problem ones further out.

Also check the solder joints for the pins. If you have a security bit that is.

With another to test, it's the system. The question now is if you really did clean it correctly or if there's something actually damaged on the pins in the slot or elsewhere on the board.

I cleaned with q-tips and alcohol. I also took the pins from one of the working snes and got the same problem

It's a problem with the board then, not the pins. Anything look damaged?

A lesson without pain is meaningless.

Well I can't do it so I'd trash it, but if you have the tools and ability, you can make it right.
