GCStar is pretty cool because you can upload your own pictures and it will display them on a visual shelf!

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

I wish there was something that was able to hook into google goggles API because that way when your out and about you can hit the lebel/box art/text and see if its in your collection or not.

If you're just looking for mostly static lists with a couple images that can easily be accessed from any online capable device and is free, there are a number of websites.

    RFGeneration
    VGCollect
    Backloggery
    Darkadia
    Raptr
    HowLongToBeat
    Dpadd
    Grouvee

Probably a few others that I'm not remembering or don't know about.

I've compiled a spreadsheet, taken from game lists on Wikipedia and other places. It's in excel, and I keep it on my Google drive so I can access it from my phone while shopping.

I keep multiple lists, just in case something happens. Always good to be prepared.

There is a pretty cool app on IOS(and I believe android as well) called Game Vault. I think it was free. It uses GiantBomb's database and will display your games as if on a shelf, and has some sorting options as well. My only real issue is that some games seem to be missing. For instance, I couldn't find TMNT II on NES. I looked on GiantBomb's website and it is in their database, but just isn't showing up in the app for some reason. To give you a rough idea, I have about 900 games and I would estimate that there were about 25 games that I couldn't find in the app. Still, it's got most everything covered, including multiple regions, and is pretty quick to access. I assume that the missing games will be added or fixed, as the app is still receiving updates.

But my main program, as others here have said, are Excel sheets(one for each system) that I store in Google Drive. I agree, it's not the prettiest way to organize things, but it works well enough.
