A bootleg port that someone made for the NES.

There were probably like a thousand bootleg ports. No official port. I think Capcom said they might consider it, after EGM reported on one of the first pirates (I think it is the "Yoko" version?) in 1992. But it never happened.

There were a million Mortal Kombat ports as well. Same story, Acclaim considered it for the NES but was already busy on other stuff.

There's also an official Brazilian release for the Master System by TecToy:

You want wicked good work for a lousy piracy house? Try Samurai Spirits (Shodown) for the NES! The opening on it is impressive too.

I'm pretty out of it when it comes to fighting games anymore, but damn I'd buy this.

There's a port of Samurai Spirits 2 but I can't find a quality video, just little few seconds or so clips but it looks even a little more detailed.

There are actually several Street Fighter II pirates for the NES (or Famicom, mores specifically). However, they're all generally terrible and not worth even a second glance. There are only three fighters worth looking into on the Famicom - Garou Densetsu Special (pirate), AV Bishoujo Girl Fighting, and the licensed fighter Joy Mech Fight. I've talked about these games all before in the past, so you should find what you need through google.

Wow, that looks like a really great bootleg port! It even has the (partial) hate crime intro!

TMNT is terrible. I had it a few months ago and the controls on it are sketchy at best. It's very short with I think 6 stages at most and you can keep dialing the moves in and they will not work consistently on either stock (model 1 or 2) nes controller. I really wanted to like it and tried to forgive the controls for awhile but got fed up.

I heard the game I liked for Samurai Shodown/Spirits 1 and 2 have solid controls matching the arcade/home ports of it, so if I can ever find that one on a famiclone cart I'm going for it. SF2 I've heard the moves work, but the AI is brutal on it, and it only has 4 playable characters plus Vega/Bison to take down for 5 battles total so it's even shorter than turtles.
