    Default Anyone collect independent comics?

Now by independent I mean the comics where an artist actually illustrates the book in pen and ink and it's published in black and white and it's self financed or published by a small company.

I do not collect comics whether it be independent or mainstream but if I did I would have a variety of them!

Can you show us some examples? I generally like the idea of supporting the smaller ones who want to fulfil the dream of making a living with the art their creating.
Besides, comics are a great source of entertaiment.

There are a lot on Kickstarter ( just do a search of 'comics' ). A lot of junk out there but also a lot of seemingly worthwhile stuff as well.

I recently backed this one, seems interesting:

A few others I found that caught my eye:

I have a number of comics because comics is my cup of tea. A few of them are independent comics, as you said the comics where the creator actually illustrates the book in pen and ink and it's published in black and white and additionally, they are all not popular.
I am not sure I can call them are my collection?

I used to collect Japanese comics (not Anime), such as Conan Detective, Doraemon. Is it also called independent comics?
