New T&C Surf Designs Inspired Android Game
Being a kid of the late 80s - early 90s, I played a lot of NES games and always had a soft spot of T&C Surf Designs (yes that LJN game with horrible controls). Over the weekend I released a surfing game heavily influenced by it, but with a few changes. You now play as a surfing goat equipped with a laser gun facing off against the deadly marine life as well as other laser-equipped surfers who want you off their wave. No confusing controls here, just a simple analog control. Tap anywhere on the screen to fire (which is initially limited to 2 shots per screen but upgrades are available including one for rapid fire. It's a simple arcade style game with the difficulty gradually increasing until level 10 when no more extra health is awarded and it's a test of will and endurance.
