He'll need the Free Loader or Action Replay to play these games on his PAL Game Cube. But I don't think it will work with all games.

Thats what I hate about action replays and the sort they also get updated so you are buying this crap like on a yearly basis till the system bites the dust.

Maybe there is a boot disc somewhere? I know on one mod chip site
I seen a boot disc for sale that will allow Pal games on a NTSC Gamecube

On a related note, I've seen a European magazine in a Barnes and Noble here in VA that includes a smaller version of the Freeloader, but the disc is PAL. Could I use that PAL Freeloader disc to boot import games on my American GameCube? The mag is only $10.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

    Default nope

If the magazine is the one that I think it is, the Freeloader on the cover is only for one game (can't remember which one) - so it is pretty much worthless. Steer clear.
