That's really impressive and even on your screen choice of quality and size there that is very sharp. How long do the batteries on that last anyway?

    Thanks.

Around 1.75 hours which is plenty long enough as mostly using mains power not battery.

Nice work, though you've got your A+B buttons reversed.

On purpose, A button is used prodominently in games so that's in prime location.

Absolutely amazing, but have to concur that I would never be able to get used to the reversed buttons.

That's a little too big for my liking. I think you could have tried to go for a unit the size of a PSP using a 5" screen. Would still be much bigger than the GBA's 2.7", but also....portable.

I do understand that it would have been more difficult to scale to that size though.

Just out of curiosity, what motherboard are you using? AGB-001?

The AD Adaptor is in effect a GBA, but needs a SNES or clone to work, so I used a RetroDuo I had lying around.

Wanted to use my 8" screen, and actually, the case is about as small as you can use with a screen that size.

I personally would not use this. But it is very cool to see it. Congrats on the project its always great to see new workings in the retro field. I look forward to seeing the N64 layout.

Is there any thoughts on improving battery life?

Battery life - adding more cells, however issue is twofold - one is the screen is so thick, as is it's board, there is no space for more cells; also adds more weight.
