I found a spare junk original SNES console in a lot of games I bought and the seller gave to me stating that it didn't work right. When I power it up with a cart the connector is obviously grounding as it turns on to a black screen so it knows the cart is there but won't read it. Question is how do I know if it's the pin connector or the motherboard? I've heard many times that the connectors go bad but they don't seem like the easiest to find replacements for. Any way to know for sure before I go and try to track one down?

Thanks
