I'll likely pass on this simply because I've already bought a 3DS and an XL.

The c-stick on the new 3ds completely blows. It's just a pressure sensitive nub that doesn't move. I assumed it was going to be a really small analog stick but that's not the case. It sucks with Ironfall and Codename:STEAM with imprecise aiming that no adjusting could fix. It works fine with twin-stick shooters like NanoAssault but that is about it.

I got the new 3ds as a gift. So my choice is: playing games with comfy controls(with CPP) but poor 3d or playing games with imprecise controls and perfect 3d. It would be nice to have just ONE system with a good control setup and perfect 3d adjustment but that seems impossible for Nintendo.

At least we know it's the last form of the 3ds. What would they call another iteration of the portable? The Newer 3ds? The Newest 3ds? Next 3ds?

Rumors say that SuperNes games will be announced for the New 3DS in today's upcoming Nintendo Direct.

That would be pretty nice if they did that, no reason not to given the power of the thing and their asinine general lack of interest of making one unique piece of gaming goodness on a physical card (yes xenoblade is rehash.)

I'd find it fairly tempting to snap up something despite my lack of interest in doing so with their lame system they have set up, but I think I'd really enjoy having Pilotwings on the go if that happened, perhaps F-Zero too. Unique, fun, very fast and easy to pick up and play.

SuperNes downloads were announced today. You'll have to download Pilotwings now and let us know what you think of it (Emulation quality and so on).
