Like I said, I don't want to ship it, but if someone wants to pay to have it packaged very securely and freighted to their door I'm game. I'm just not going to do it through ebay, risk is too high with the type of people on there who play games with the system against sellers.

Understood and I appreciate where you're coming from.

If I see an ad that states "Pick Up Only" I won't even ask about shipping, I just move to the next ad or keep looking.

Again, just speaking of how I buy.

Yea pretty much. If you want to get a good price on it your probably going to have to ship it. If not you might be sitting it for a while

With something this rare and in demand, plenty of people would be willing to travel for it. Just like with arcade games, plenty of people are willing to travel for something rare if shipping isn't an available option. Plus ebay would have fees. It's really the feet that make it difficult to ship without damaging.

Maybe it depends on the area but when I sell stuff I don't need it's usually locally and I can price everything around what it sells for on ebay. It's just unpopular or obscure stuff that's difficult. Nintendo stuff is popular so it shouldn't be a problem.

Well locally so far, just one bite, and the guy is too afraid of his wife if she found out what he paid for it so we just ended up bs'n about stuff for about a dozen mails. I haven't refreshed the ad though as craigslist isn't my idea of fun either as you often get those automated sucker mails trying to get you to send stuff.

I'm fine sitting on it, be nicer if it moved sooner than later though but I'm not in a pinch. As it is now, it remains on the nightstand/table it has since I got it and keeping it cozy is a 1983~ 2ft tall donkey kong plushie, a lego set, and an antique tin toy car plus a lava lamp. :P

Well like I said freighting is a choice if you want to set the entire thing up, of course I'd drop the cost some so you don't totally eat it.

Nah, I'm not good at stuff like that. When it comes to buying, I'm only good at sending cash.
