Default RETRO (video game magazine) Year 2 Kickstarter officially up

    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...azine-year-two

I was a year one subscriber, and plan to sub for another year. The first year wasn't perfect, but I do have high hopes they can hit their stride in year 2.

    Anyone else planning to back?

BTW, it should be noted that even if they don't reach the 20K goal, year 2 is officially a go. The Kickstarter is just funding for them to make the magazine bigger and better.

How would you say Retro compares to Retro Gamer? Of course RG is more Euro central, with a lot of coverage of ZX Spectrum games that don't interest me at all. Other than that, I really enjoy RG. I wonder if I would like Retro as much.

It's hard to say, as opinions vary and it's a very subjective matter. Retro currently clocks in at 64 pages (hopefully it increases with added funding from their KS campaign). Your best bet is to pick up a copy somehow and see for yourself.
