    Default Dreamcast VMU's - Harder-To-Find Colors

Okay, need a bit of help on this one!

I've got two VMU's that I've figured out are pretty darn hard to find. One is the US Yellow VMU which, best I can tell, either had very very low stock or just didn't sell at all.

The other, though, I don't know. It's the Ice Blue VMU, assuming it was a Japan-only release but it looks like one of their more standard colors.

In either case, I accept your humble help ... what ARE these worth?

    Thanks!

Since whacky color names are so subjective, why don't you put some pictures up so people can be certain they're giving you accurate information?

I'll post pictures in a bit, but in the meantime, this is the page I used as reference for names:

I have no idea what they're worth, but that strawberry one is super cool

Also just found that I have matching controllers for both the smoke and the turquoise blue units, both were Millenium Edition.

I've been collecting and looking for those Dream Point Bank special edition printed VMUs for a handful of years.
I've paid between $18 and $36 for each, and the Wood Grain version I got brand new in Feb.'10 for $50.
There have been some listed for $80-120 iirc, but I've not idea if anyone ever bought one at that price.
Recently I've seen some heavily used Dream Point VMUs sold in lots with regular gray ones, and they sold pretty cheap.

The Leopard and the Dolphin printed versions, as well as the Pearl Pink version I don't think I've ever seen for sale in the time I've been looking.

Even though they are far more common than these Dream Point Blank ones, what do you think I ought to be able to get for the Ice Blue and Yellow VMUs?

I dont really think there is a big pool of VMU colectors out there, so I dont know what you might get for the uncommon ones you have.
Personally, I hold $20 as a baseline price for a collectible VMU with the matching lid.
I've paid more, but don't forsee doing so in the future - Im just not into my Dreamcast collection so much at the moment. And moreso, how many VMUs does someone really need?!? haha

In the past year I purchased a metalic (pearl) ice-blue VMU, but offhand dont remember what I paid.

Toss em on eBay for pricey BINs, see if they sell. If they don't, hang onto them until they become sought after.
