    Wink Most Forgettable Games

Let us share our personal lists of the most forgettable games.

    • Um...
    • Uh, gee.
    • Ooh, that one really generic character-based platformer for the SEGA Genesis or Super NES. You know the one.
    • Er...
    • Oh, and that space shooter for the Atari 2600. Yeah, that one.

OK, seriously speaking, if games are super forgettable, we wouldn't remember them at all. But for the sake of conversation, what are the games where when you browse your lists or scan your shelves, you stop and say to yourself, "Huh, I didn't know I had that one. What's it about anyway?"

    Flying warriors for nes.

I hear it's a decent game but generic title leads me to believe I didn't have it, now I have two

Punky Skunk on PS1. Surprised what is basically a SNES game got Sony's approval in the "3D ONLY" era.

Recently I've had to double check my collection because I didn't realize that I already owned Lagoon (snes) and Harvest Moon DS. I also passed up an Atelier PS3 game recently because I couldn't remember which games from the series I actually owmed. Although I do like the series, the titles all sound alike.

Edit: Oh. Recently I was weeding out tradebait when I discovered I own a copy of Teken on PS1. Not only did I not even know that I owned it I can't remember where the hell I picked it up. Must have been in a lot because it's not normally the sort of game I'd buy.

I've never played Flying Warriors, but the ads for it in GamePro back in the day annoyed me greatly.

That fantasy RPG where you have to stop the resurrection of a dark deity/dragon/cataclysmic event and the main character says two words throughout the length of the game! It was a slightly enjoyable game for that 16 and/or 32-bit system.

Space Jockey for the Atari 2600. The graphics for Space Jockey were pretty good taking into account its a 2600 game. However, this game is very deceptive, on one hand it has crisp graphics and almost no flicker but on the other hand its painfully monotonous. Kinda crazy that this game came from the same guy (Garry Kitchen) who made Keystone Kapers. But in fairness it was his 1st game. Anyway, Space Jockey is almost invisible and very forgettable as far as 2600 games go compared to games like Defender II/Stargate, Space Invaders, or Asteroids.
