Default Where to buy a saturn modchip?

I keep trying to contact http://www.segastyle.com/ but I haven't received a response in a week or so. And racketboy is sold out. Any other reliable places?

I was going to mod my Saturn as well but I am going to wait for this instead. It should fill the void of the modchip supply going away.

This reminds me I bought a modchip from Racket Boy years ago and never installed it. Too afraid of the solder gun.

You can use an Action Replay Plus cart, which includes the extra RAM some games require, to enable Japanese discs to play on a US system. It's what I use to play Symphony of the Night on my US system.

But that's not a mod chip. I know about those carts.

    mod chips enable cd-r only.
    carts enable genuine imports only.

Of course you can use both.

Neither affects the console's region settings. For example a US saturn will play PAL games at 60hz in NTSC color, and detected as English by games like Soukyugurentai.
    Lum fan.

Well it seems someone has turned this into a mod chip after flashing it. I am going to try it sometime tonight on mine. You lose all save functionality though. They are working on restoring it or making it better.

    Edit:

I just flashed my cart and it works great. Comes up with a little menu and loads the games just fine. Love it!

I've seen these around as well but I have a chip on mine so no need for this. There is a guy on Facebook selling Pseudo Saturn carts at a nice markup too.

That doesnt surprise me one bit. It is so easy to do yourself too. If you can do the disc swap you can do this. The great thing about it is somebody released a disc that lets you go back to the action replay firmware if you like.
