Can anyone tell me where I can find one of these discs for a good price? Ive been playing Capcom vs SNK and wanted to get the second. Unfortunately it was Japan only. There were also other Japanese only games. Thanks in advance.

I know the old Interact Cheats N Codes disc did just that. Worked on most PAL games, too. Someone's selling sealed copies for $4 on ebay:

Hope that link works.

You can also use the Dreamcast Gameshark disc as a bypass to play import games.

gameshark,dc-x and even a code breaker can be used to play imports on a dc.
Unless you're unlucky enough to get the revised version of the hardware (which is uncommon since it was only released in the last few months of the system's life), you don't need anything because the Dreamcast has no lock out chip and will play anything you throw at it. That's why it's still a popular system for homebrews.
Social Justice Warrior and proud of it!
Yup despite the existence of self-boot backups and homebrew (no disc swap or otherwise), a hardware mod is mandatory to automatically run import GD-ROMs.
Lum fan.
Just a heads up-if you use any of these discs to run pal games like the english Fighting Vipers 2, it will initially try to run at 50Hz, and you'll get a rolling screen with a menu. It's asking if you want to run at 60Hz, so just select the other option and you're good to go.
The Utopia boot disc worked for me on the Japanese version of Tech Romancer, but not Blue Stinger.
Oh man some one at work was talking to me about blue stinger. I'm going to have to get it now to see how bad it is.
I use a burned copy of the Action Replay Dreamcast demo (which you can legally download from the net, just do a google search). Just go to the menu option to apply cheats, but apply no cheats. Then when it tells you to load your game, just pop in your import disc and you're good to go.
New Comics for the Week of 10-03-12
I just use a burned Utopia boot disc. Never had to buy anything. I don't have a ton of Japanese Dreamcast games, but for the few that I do have, I've never encountered any problems getting them to load up this way.
