Default No One Lives Forever (NOLF)

Who here enjoys this 1960's-inspired spy-action game from 2000? What do you think of it? What's your favorite moments? The most memorable parts? Does No One Lives Forever and its sequels still "hold up" today? I'm thinking about buying at least the first game after reading a really positive article about it and watching a video of some of the best dialog in the game.

What confuses me, is why I don't remember ever seeing this title until the past few weeks. It sure managed to slip by me unnoticed back in the early 2000's. I was even a regular at the Sierra forums back then thanks to Papyrus and their racing sims, yet I have no recollection of this title.

I've added the flawed PS2 conversion of the original to my want list to keep my eyes open for. Sounds like its worst offense is that it looked somewhat dated compared to the latest PS2 releases at the time it finally made its console debut.

Hardly an issue all these years later when all except perhaps a few "2.5D" style 3D releases on the platform look dated to one degree or another.

I'm pretty sure I have this but never played it, I got it in a bundle of PC games.

I played this not quite in it's prime, maybe a few years after it came out. Have a friend that swears by it. I know I didn't finish it or even get all that far along, but I don't remember why. I remember it being funny. Could have been I got distracted with something like Diablo II or HL2 or who knows what.

I actually have never played it, but I saw NOLF advertised all over the place in the magazines of the time. This game must have had a huge advertising budget because it seemed I could not get away from its ads. But hey, they worked: I've never forgotten those ads' artwork even to this day!

I recall vividly the immense marketing push from Sierra when this game came out. Visually it was unmatched for the time. It was a good game, nothing extraordinary.
