    Default Burning Security

Prob a dumb question. Be easy on me, I'm not an expert on burning games by any means. That being said, is it possible to burn games. For hard to find consoles to play on say a Sega CD. Like Turbo CD and Jaguar CD, can you burn those games and change the security or something so they can be played on a Sega CD or another console,a more easily available console. Just curious

Pretty sure the Sega CD and Turbo CD don't have any copy protection. Just burn and go. I've done it at least once with my Turbo. The idea of bootleg CDs just wasn't even a significant concern then. Don't know about the Jaguar CD, though.

Just because the systems are rare doesn't mean it's not illegal to play bootlegs and by no means should you play burnt games on a Turbo Duo as you'll destroy the laser assembly.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

Some sega cd systems will play burned games just fine. Others will not.
There are 2 versions of the model 2 sega cd, one made in Japan and one made in China. This might have something to do with it.

How? I have the Homebrew Channel on my Wii and I have a Turbo emulator, but it won't run ISO or Bin/Cue files even though it's supposed to be able to. Am I supposed to burn a disc and run it in the Wii's disc drive? Would that even work?

The reason the games won't play on other classic systems isn't security. It's because the code written on the discs still interacts with the hardware to produce the game, and those systems have different guts.

From what I understand about Turbo emulators, at least the older ones, they always required you to burn and run a disc for aCD games, but would play HuCard games from the file. Never tried it, but I remember reading that while looking for an English ROM of Shin Megami Tensei to burn onto a disc to play on my Duo, as I have the Japanese copy. I never found one.
